On the Bosom of Night When the Weary Were Sleeping(126 items)
This section relates to fires, fire brigades and firemen. There is some vocal music pertaining to the great fires of New York (1835), Boston (1872), and the only known song about the Baltimore fire of 1904 which is entitled "In That City of Wealth and Fame".

Another item of Baltimore interest, dated 1853, is dedicated to the Pioneer Hook & Ladder Company, with a lithographed cover showing their headquarters. There are a number of other lithographed covers giving views of Boston, New York, Providence and Philadelphia.
