The Princeton Grand March(202 items)
These songs included material of both historical and popular nature concerning schools, colleges and universities. Some of the covers show attractive views of Yale, Princeton and West Point. A rare and probably unique item is entitled "The Linden Hall Seminary for Young Ladies [Russian Melody]". "The Yale College Quickstep" was published in 1843 and "The Princeton Grand March", undated, was composed by Francis Johnson. The amusing cover of "The Schoolmaster" of 1839 is illustrated by the well known artist D.C. Johnston.
